The judging was every bit as difficult as I imagined it would be. I’m really glad that my own painting of Lyssa didn’t have to compete! When I heard that there were 126 paintings to be judged, my heart stopped beating for a minute. When I saw how diverse and well-crafted the bunch was, I knew I was in for a long day of deliberation.
