A fun Field Trip

On the Monday after World Fantasy, I visited the 4th grade Class of Duane Sovyn, at A.E. Bowers Elementary in Airdrie, Alberta. I showed them a slide presentation of my paintings, then we drew a dragon together. Prior to the show, I had also prepared a puzzle for them, which they had to duplicate larger and then assemble. See the attached image. They did remarkably well, and were enthusiastic as could be. It was a real treat. Many thanks to Mr. Sovyn for letting me come and show off, and also for his help at the convention.

That was an amazing idea, and the kids’ reproduction turned out wonderfully! It’s great that you haven’t become too popular to bother with the little people =D
