Nice note from a nice guy

Yesterday I received a gracious apology from the person who first posted the Colbert Art to Digg.com. He didn’t really need to apologize — I never held him accountable at all, as he was not the person who first posted the image to Image Shack. But I appreciated his concern. He even blogged it.

Thank you, Zach! You are a gentleman.

Colbert is Captain America, and so can you!

As you might have seen on my Home page and in News, there was a bit of excitement around here over the last few days. A piece that had been consigned to eternal limbo by Upper Deck, who commissioned it, owned it, and wanted it buried, revealed itself dramatically on the internet. You can read the full story of that in the Multichannel News blog written by the excellent Mary McNamara, here. Suffice it to say that I spent a tense weekend wondering if Upper Deck would be understanding, belligerent, or aggressive.

Look here for the image that caused the controversy.

And here’s a screensaver made by a fan.
